You must apply for a building permit for any new, roofed structure with ground space larger than 100 square feet.  It does not matter if the structure is built on site or pre-built and brought in.  This includes, but is not limited to, sheds, barns, shops, c-cans, storage containers and the like. 

• Building permits are $25 and must be approved by a member of the Zoning Committee prior to construction beginning. 
• Building permits expire one year after issuance.  Building permits can take up to one week for approval so plan early!
