Position Opening: Summer Maintenance and Mowing
Overview:
The Town of Rolling Hills is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a summer maintenance and mowing helper. This is a seasonal position that will involve a variety of outdoor tasks to help maintain the grounds and facilities of town property.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing and trimming lawns and landscaped areas using push mowers, riding mowers and string trimmers
- Clearing debris and general cleanup of outdoor spaces
- Assisting with minor landscaping
- Performing light maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Following all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience with lawn mowing and basic landscaping tasks preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction
Schedule and Compensation:
- This is a seasonal, part-time position typically working 20-25 hours per week
- Hours generally begin at 7 a.m., Monday through Friday; hours may vary and will be discussed further upon interview and hiring
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
